Military Survey and Geographic Studies Institute
The Military Survey and Geographic Studies Institute held a graduation ceremony today at its headquarters in Riyadh for a number of institute courses representing the first group of graduates this year, in the presence of the Director General of the General Administration for Military Survey, His Excellency Staff Lieutenant General Marie bin Hassan Al-Shahrani.
The ceremony prepared for this occasion began with verses from the Holy Quran, after which the Institute Commander, Brigadier General Engineer Dr. Abdullah bin Mushabbab Al-Shahrani, delivered a speech in which he emphasized that the Institute receives the attention, support, and patronage of the leadership - may God protect them - making it one of the distinguished educational institutions in the field of surveying, map production and reading, terrain analysis, land navigation, aerial and satellite imagery analysis and interpretation, and geographic information systems.
The trainee is qualified to work in supporting operations, command and control centers, strategic and operational planning, and in military colleges, institutes, centers, and civilian sectors to support decision-makers and sustainable development plans and programs.
